Sounds like Borgore!

Haha, this sounds a lot like borgore, where's the dirty rapping? :P

This song is nice- well mixed, and the wobbles are nice. It's just missing one thing- BASSSSSS! You've got the higher elements of the dubstep wobbles- but there sort of needs to be a sub-bass underneath these main parts. Try adding in a synth made of a single sine wave, have it play the main bass melody on a really low frequency- e.g. you can't hear it without decent speakers, and sidechain it with the kick drum. If you can get a sub fitting into your mix nicely, this song will be fully ear-raping.

Preyfour responds:

Hey man, thanks for the feedback. I do actually have a sub in the mix, but due to me currently running through shitty speakers I didn't know if it was shining through enough. Cheers for the advice, I'll take it into account.

It's not bad

I like, but I'm afraid I had to give you a four (breaking your perfect 5 record :P)

The intro was really cool, the stringy/piano sound and melody was really beautiful, but I think it needed to have gained more energy as it dropped into the main part of the song, maybe try having the drums quieter/high-passed until the mid section begins.

I like the the crazy melody lines in the central section, and the mix is definitely clean and clear, but the wobble sound is too high in my opinion, maybe take it down an octave to give more room for the high synths and beef it up a bit. Also remember to leave some space, even in the most high energy parts of the song (music is made by the gaps between the notes, as they say). Finally I reckon change up the drum beat a bit, to make it real interesting.

All in all though, this song has a lot of potential, well structured, well mixed, and original- it's not just a boring generic dubstep song.
Nice work!

Buztid responds:

thank you :)
im always open to constructive criticism. Thanks for listening to it anyways and ill take what you said into account, as i always do. :)

Nice job

There's some really nice drum sounds in there, and the mix is clear and fat. I reckon you should continue it into some shapeshifter style drum n bass (listen to equinox or lifetime for inspiration).

Good shit mayyn.

That's awesome

Really nice drum sounds, and the way the sine bass goes underneath them is really sweet- good volume on the bass. It's sort of like really mellow dubstep, only a 9 because it doesn't have the vocals yet- it'll be perfect when they're in there.

Cheers

Frazmaster responds:

hopefully! :D
thanks for the comment

Nice Work!

Your drum sounds are gangsta as! This is sweet, there's a good variety of instruments, and it works well.

YouriX responds:

Thanks man i tried to make it robotic and still Samurai like. Also this song does sound gangsta, you could just feel that someone might just start rapping through this song. XD

cool

Have you heard of the animal collective? This could so be turned into their style of music with singing over it haha.

lilmcj22 responds:

Haha yea..
Thnks for the review!

Cool

This definitely reminds me of space.

All the space computer/video games I've played have had music sort of like this- halo and homeworld 2 and it sort of reminds me of the book Ender's game by Orson Scott Card.

Nanashi responds:

That's good to hear! Even when a song turns out ok, it normally doesn't remind people of quite what I was intending, but that sounds rather close.

Damn, good stuff

Thats so depressing about the corrupted files.

I am extremely jealous of you, and people like you who can make mixes this crisp and strong.

You didn't use fl to master this did you, because it doesn't sound like a fruity loops mix?

TranceCrafter responds:

I did use fl to master it :P

I used fl for pretty much the entire production, but with the help of some third party plugins like sylenth1. perfection comes through practice :)

nice

You are a legit singer.

And the song is cool too.

Mean

I love your style man, its subtle and cool.

I reckon layer another snare in, with a bit more thump to it, eqing it so it has some mids, and then in the fast bit of your song-with the dnb beat- you should add some variation into the snare in the pitch/volume/whatever and maybe add some more random percussion into these bits. Thats just my opinion of what would make it sound legit.

Your synths/samples are all epic though, its a mint song.

Shimo responds:

The mid-snare is a good idea. I think I have some variation right now in the dnb-snare, 2 or 3 different snare-types or so, however I've been thinking about changing the dnb-snare to something less sharp. Percussion is also a great idea, and I think I need some cymbals for some parts. I think I need a little more depth to it overall, but we'll see what I can do about that.

Thanks for digging :)

Evening chaps. These are my musics. I don't know what kind of music to make so I just make a lot.
